The Burin Peninsula Health-Care Centre is a 35-bed acute care facility.

Volunteer roles

Gift Shop

• Provide friendly customer service and assist with the daily operation of the shop. The gift shop is open daily from 11 am to 4 pm.

Night Lunches

• Assist with night lunches for in-patients.

Fundraising

• Participate in various fundraising activities such as selling tickets, bake sales, pancake lunches, etc. Revenue generated contributes to the financial support of patient care.

Newborn Gifts/Seasonal Gifts

• Provide gift bags for all newborns and for in-patients for special occasions.
