Blue Crest Nursing Home
Blue Crest Nursing Home is a residential long-term care facility in Grand Bank. Services offered to the residents within facility include nutritional services, nursing care, pastoral care, recreation therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and social work.
Volunteer roles
Friendly Visiting
- One-on-one or small group conversations, compassion and support for the residents.
Therapeutic Recreation
- Assist with various programing that is offered by the Therapeutic Recreation Department, such as, bingo, parties, outings, etc.
Fundraising
- Participate in various fundraising activities such as ticket sales, summer barbeques, annual auction, etc. All money raised contributes to financial support of patient and resident care.
Music/Entertainment
- Provide musical entertainment by sharing your talent with residents within Blue Crest.
